UK Unit Trust Quotes

Hi Mark

I haven't received any UK Unit trust price quotes from MSN since the 15th Feb. I've check with a web browser and the price is available. When I do initiate a price download in FM the pop up window indicates that it is receiving data and a retrieve data rate is shown, however, no new price is shown in the data register.
Share and Investment Trust prices download OK from MSN.
I'm using Ver: 11.8 Quote Mod:428 Transaction Mod: 157.

For example GB:GB000657246 is the symbol for Artemis Income Inc with MSN.

Thoughts appreciated.

Hi again Mark.

I've looked further into this and it appears that the problem lies with MSN who have not updated their unit trust prices. It looks like 15th Feb was the last update. Sorry for troubling you.
Do any UK users of FM use a more reliable quotes server for UT prices than MSN?

Hi SS,

I see this as well. I looked up this unit trust on Yahoo and Google. They both offer it, but are showing a price of 0 as of Jan 31, so it seems their feeds are not updated either. If you do find a better site for these unit trust quotes please let us know.

I've searched around the various servers during this afternoon and found that Bloomberg offers all the UK Unit Trust quotes that I require. It did require a good deal of admin as the Bloomberg symbols are a great deal different from other companies, however, there is a plus side; UT historical prices are also available.
