Unable to signon to TD Ameritrade

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hello,

I set up a new sub portfolio in FM for my TD Ameritrade account. When I entered the UserID and password into FM and tried to retrieve data from TD Ameritrade, I keep getting a singon invalid error.

I have verified the UserID and password work with the TD Ameritrade website. Also, there are no special characters in the password. Finally, I have made sure that FM is fully updated to the latest version.

What can I do to get FM working with TD Ameritrade?

Hi DaddyTheInvestor,

It sounds like you are doing everything correct. Do you have a regular TD Ameritrade account, or is it under the institutional interface? You might need to contact TD and ask them to enable your account for "Quicken" access. Fund Manager and Quicken use the same interface, and they may not have your account enabled, or they may have a different login for you to use, as compared to their website. Normally it is the same as their web interface, but if you're getting login errors, then for some reason TD isn't accepting your entered credentials.
Thanks,
Mark
