MyWrite ... Error on Opening FM

This started two weeks ago. Each time FM is opened, this error appears:

MyWritePrivateProfileString failed with error 0: The operation completed successfully.

There is an option to press cancel to not be notified of further errors or OK. Clicking OK results in the same error appearing many, many times. Enough times that one resorts to clicking cancel, whereupon FM finally opens alright (though very slowly, it seems ...).

The problem seems to be worsening: Today, FM would not open at all until I rebooted my machine.

Hi El Wealtho,

It sounds like you might have a permissions problem in your registry. Try this:

1) Do a "File / Backup..." from within Fund Manager.
2) Uninstall Fund Manager
3) Install Fund Manager
4) Use "File / Restore..." and restore the backup created in step #1.
