Password Managers

Hi Mark,

I searched the forums but could not find any information regarding the use of a password manager (I.e., Keepass, Lastpass, etc.).

Do these programs affect the ability to download transactions from financial accounts such as Vanguard and ETrade?

Hi Jim,

A password manager program should have no impact on the ability of Fund Manager to retrieve transactions from your broker. You can either enter your password into FM, and let it store your encrypted password in the *.mm4 portfolio file, or you can leave the password blank, and FM will prompt you for the password each time you retrieve transactions.
