Data format

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Can someone please tell me what data format Fund Manager uses. When I consider buying this type of software I consider what would happen if the company stopped supporting the product for some reason. Would I be able to easily convert my data for use with other portfolio management software? Would I be stuck having to re-input transaction data? If this information is on the website, could someone direct me to it. Thanks.

Hi Maxwell,

All of your pricing and transaction data is easily exportable to standard file formats. See "File / Export" from the main menu. Pricing and transaction data can be exported to a CSV or QIF file.
Thanks,
Mark
