Hi cah1942,

You can't open a portfolio file (*.mm4), or your portfolio file is open, but you can't open a sub-portfolio? What exactly are you doing, and what do you see? Are you getting any error messages?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi cah1942,

Instead of opening an investment, try opening your portfolio. Use "File / Open Portfolio...". Do you see your portfolio file listed? If so, select it and press "Open".
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Chuck,

It sounds like you lost your preferences from the registry for some reason... When you start Fund Manager it automatically re-opens the last portfolio file you had open last session. If you start Fund Manager and get presented with the New Portfolio Wizard this means there was no prior portfolio file recorded in the registry.
Thanks,
Mark
