bug with identical stocks in sub-portfolios?

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi,

I have a few sub-portfolios. Some of these hold the same stocks (with same Symbol and ISIN).

PROBLEM: when I change something in the data-registrer of sub-portfolio 'A', it also automatically changes this in sub-portfolio 'B'! This is a bug, right? Or am I doing something wrong?

Regards,

Erik

Hi Erik,

It sounds like you have the same investment file located in both sub-portfolio A and B. Instead, you need to create 2 investments, and put one in sub A and one in sub B. See this FAQ:

Thanks,

You must be right.. I don't know how that happened, I thought I created all the investments one-by-one, but apparently i did something wrong at some point.

Thanks!
