Generic Price Import - file size

When setting up a new portfolio, price data can be large. Using the same import spec, I can import single tickers no problem. But when I try to import a large file with all the data, FM spins its little indicator for about 5 seconds and then that goes away and nothing happens. The file size is a bit greater than 28MB. This is using the "create investment" option; the line format is below, if that matters.

I am trying to set up an S&P 500 benchmark portfolio, so there are about 500 individual tickers. I can do them all one by one, but that's not the preferred method... Since I'm working with a "Pro" version, it doesn't seem the investment limits should matter.

Hi Rufus,

For a large file like that you might need to let it work for a few minutes. Give it 15 minutes and see if it doesn't come back with all your data imported.
