Temporary Watchlist

I have a number of investments spread out across sub-portfolios. At times I would like to create a temp watchlist of some of these investments to watch short-term. Any easy way to temporarily group(flag) these investments for graphs purposes and not affect overall portfolio value or sub-portfolios?
Hi,
You could create a separate folder (sub-portfolio) structure for your watchlists. For example: - Accounts --- Act1 --- Act2 - Markets --- US Indices --- World Indices --- Bonds --- Currency -Watchlists --- WatchL1 --- WatchL2 Then you just have to copy the investments you want (in the example, from other folders in Accounts or Markets) in your watchlist folders. To copy, right click an investment > Copy. Then right click and Paste in your watchlist. You can use drag and drop too, while maintaining the CTRL key pressed. With this method the copy is like a link to the investment you've copied from, because it relies on the same investment file on the hard drive. It is probably what you want.
You can then simply delete the investments in the watchlist portfolios. The original investments in the source portfolios won't be affected.
