Asset Type and Sector for Bonds

Is it right that bonds will not update Asset Type or Sector when downloading this for portfolio, is there a way to autopopulate?

Yes, that is correct. Only stocks, funds, and ETF investment types can have their asset type and sectors automatically retrieved. For others you would need to manually assign them.
