historical prices before date of purchase

Lately I have not been able to download historical prices before the first date of purchase of a given stock.

Eg when I enter a new investment today, I cannot retrieve it's historical prices before today's date anymore. I was used to download historical prices from at least one year before the date of purchase...

Has something changed?

Hi Erik,

No, nothing has changed, and this shouldn't be the case... Are you verifying the prices under the Data Register and "Prices" data type? What is an example ticker symbol and quote server you're using? Maybe you have the investment's historical quote server accidentally set to a current quote server, so aren't getting historical prices? Look under "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve".

Hi Mark,

I just removed my reply because I made a mistake: I was looking at the graph which was accidentally set to "value" - my mistake
It's back to "share price" now. All is well...
