General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi,

I had a subportolio that I closed becuase I wanted it in a different spot in my hierarchy. I don't see a way to open it back up now. Do I have to create a new subportfolio and open all investments that below to that portfolio - or is there a way for me to open that subportfolio again?

Hi rm_organ,

You can either re-create it, and re-open the investments into it, or you could restore from a backup. If you don't want to revert everything, you could restore a backup to a new location, open it, copy the sub-portfolio, open your original portfolio file, and paste it in there. You can copy/paste sub-portfolios across portfolio files. If you do this method, you might want to use "File / File Operations / Set Data Location..." afterwards to make sure you've got all your data being saved in the desired location.
Thanks,
Mark
