investments in alphabetical order

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Is there a way to print investment reports with the investments listed in alphabetical order? I don't see a way to do that.

Hi dberry1975,

Yes, you can do this. The easiest way is to do "Sort / Investment", and that will sort the report alphabetically by investment name.

The default sort order is "Investment Stack", which is your preferred ordering of all your investments. You could also sort your stack by investment name, giving you the same result as sorting the report by investment. To do this, use "Investments / Sort By / Name".
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark for your reply. Do I need to upgrade to the Advisor version to be able to sort reports like that? I am using the Professional version. I don't see the "Sort/Investment" on the toolbar.

Hi dberry1975,

No, all versions have this. Make sure you're currently in a Report window, and then you should see the top level "Sort" menu. If you're in a Graph or the Portfolio Editor, you wouldn't see it.
Thanks,
Mark
