Hi Mark,

Is there a way to make a linked or shadow copy of an investment? I would like to reorganize my investments for reporting purposes such as grouping links to the stocks in one portfolio and bonds in another in order to compare their performance.

Thanks,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

Yes, you can place the same investment in multiple sub-portfolios. You can do this using copy/paste in the Portfolio Editor, or by a mouse drag, while holding down the Ctrl key, or re-opening the investment file. The result is the same, you have the same investment file open in multiple locations. If you make an edit to it anywhere, it is updated everywhere it is located.
Thanks,
Mark
