Bond Price Retrieval

I have 11 bonds in FM and of the 11, the retrieval of prices for only two are consistent with current FINRA prices. For example, one of the 9 inconsistent items is Delta cusip 247367AU9 where the retrieved price shows $66, while the FINRA quote (last trxn) is $82.50. Similiar results occur with the others. I also have two Ford Motor Credit and one FOMOCO, with different cusip #'s, but for which all retrieve the exact same quote. Your good advice is always welcome.

Hi Jeff,

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem. I created an investment with the symbol set to 247367AU9, and retrieved the price from FINRA. It retrieved with a price of 82.25 for today (7/26).

Do you have the "symbol" field in your Fund Manager investment set to the CUSIP value? Fund Manager always uses the symbol for retrieving prices, and for bonds you have to record the CUSIP here.

Where are you looking at the "retrieved price"? Use the Data Register with the "Prices" data type selected. Make sure you're sorting by date, so the most recent price is shown at the top.

Thanks Mark. I was using the bond symbol (e.g for Delta DAL.PM) and not the cusip # in the Symbol field. Just out of curiosity, where is that explained in the On-line Help section?
It's usually a simple solution to my questions. Thanks again.
