General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

If I have sterling as my default currency and i change my default to usd, all of the investments that are denominated in sterling automatically change to usd and al of the usd investments change to sterling.

Am i doing something wrong or is this the program?

Thank you.

Hi manageruser,

If you change your currencies under "Options / Currency Settings..." this can affect your investments. When you assign an investment to a currency, you are picking which currency, based on the order they are listed, not the specified symbol. When you change the order under the Currency Settings... dialog, this will change the symbol on the investments. Basically, set your currency settings the way you want, and then go make sure all of your investments are assigned correctly.
Thanks,
Mark
