UPGRADE ISSUE

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,
I just upgraded from Professional to Advisor and obtained my serial # and License key. In the email, it says to access the Help menu command and then enter license key. There isn't an option on there to enter license key. What am I doing wrong?

Hi robert1,

Please first download/install the Advisor version. Once you install the Advisor version, you should then see the "Help / Enter License Key..." command. You can download from here:

Any special care or steps I need to be aware of so I don't loose my current portfolios, etc?

Hi robert1,

The only tip is to not uninstall your current version. Simply download and install the new Advisor version right over top of your current Professional version, without uninstalling. The new version will read in all your existing data fine. By not uninstalling you will retain all your preferences as well.
