I am considering buying a Windows 8 or RT tablet.
Are you planning to develop an app for RT (i.e. a "Metro style" app). If not I may have to do without Fund Manager or wait for the Microsoft Surface Windows 8 tablet.

Hi Wayne,
At this time we don't have plans to develop an app specific to Windows RT. We only have the standard Windows version of Fund Manager.
As I expected but I had to ask.
For you I guess it depends on how much of your customer base opts for an RT tablet. I for one think it will be a reasonably successful alternative to iOS & Android as the desktop / business world will inevitably go to Windows 8+ (eventually at least). I'm sure it would be a significant effort for you although likely easier than developing for iOS or Android as it is fundamentally Windows code I think, and you already have that. Also ports to Windows Phone 8 are supposed to be fairly easy. Since the world is going mobile it might be an opportunity for you. Just saying . . . ![]() Wayne
Hi Wayne,
Makes sense that it would be an easier port than to iOS or Android... Right now we're only able to support standard Windows.
