Auto Backup

I have automatic backup turned on and selected backup every day. I checked the directory where it's supposed to be saving the .fmb file and there are some auto backup files but it's not doing a backup every day. In some cases the auto backup is running only once a week. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi moonlighter,

The automatic backup runs when you exit Fund Manager. Are you starting/exiting the program each day? It will only backup on days when you do start/exit the program.

You can test it out by starting/exiting the program, and going to verify afterwards that a backup was created. You may also notice when you exit a status dialog saying a backup is being performed. Depending on the size of your data this window may not stay up very long, as it goes away as soon as the backup is complete.

Right you are, I was leaving FM open and running for days and that's why no auto backups were being created. Confirmed auto backup created on exit. Thanks!
