Error in Fund Manager

I have a fund with 8 transactions of ( 7 purchase of 2338.36000 + 2211.41000+2308.94000+1376.27000+1196.32000+1310.79000+1530.92000 and one transfer out of 1608.40000) which I think totals to 10,664.61

Fund manager displays a total of 10,565.42821 which is incorrect.

I did have a re-invested dividend with a custom labelas well of 100 which was an error and was deleted.

The price record shows the correct number of shares held up to the date of the deleted reinvested dividend, i.e. on 28/10/09 the share total is 12,273 the sum of all the purchases and is correct. on 31/10/09 the price record shows a total of 12,173.81 which is incorrect.

I then created a new investment and cut and pasted all the transactions into this and it was correct. However I have no idea where the error was, what was causing it or even how to correct it. If it had happened on a bigger investment with many more transactions I might have had a bigger problem. Have you any ideas what might have caused this.

Hi Gally,

Are you certain you deleted the erroneous reinvestment? How did you delete it? Take a look in the Data Register under the "Investments (all)" data type, or create yourself an "Investment Transactions" report for the full life of the investment, so you can see all the transactions.
