Optionsxpress option trades not going into cash account.

Beginning in October, my downloaded option transaction from broker optionsxpress were showing up as individual trades in the portfolio, but were no longer changing the cash balance p&l in the account. Prior to this the individual transactions would show up in the cash balance saying "imported" and show the appropriate cash changes for each transaction. Any suggestions?

Hi trader1,

When you retrieve transactions, the 2nd dialog shows a preview of the importing transactions. At the bottom of this dialog, make sure you check the option to "Automatically record corresponding entry in default cash account" before you press "Finish". Also, check the properties of your sub-portfolio, and make sure you have a default cash account assigned.
