Losing part of my screen

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Postby haleyburch » Fri Dec 03, 2010 6:49 am

I'm losing part of my screen. I have a couple of master portifolios set up and they are in what I would call outline form. The master name is at the top and the subportifolios below. Well, now I can't see the master or highlite it to do reports. I've gone to the view and taken out the toolbar and put it back. Can't find a solution. Help, please

Hi haleyburch,

It sounds like maybe you are in the Portfolio Editor window, and it is off the top of your screen. Try doing a "Window / Tile" menu command, which should put all your open windows back in full view.

Also, it is not necessary to select a portfolio in the Portfolio Editor in order to create a report for it. Just select the report type from the top level "Reports" menu, and then in the "Report Settings" dialog that comes up, you can select any portfolio to report on in that dialog.
Thanks,
Mark
