Sorry, one more question...

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I have a Master Portfolio with six sub-portfolios. Four of the sub-portfolios are real portfolios from brokerages. Scottrade, Fidelity, etc. But two of the sub-portfolios are Mock Portfolios that I created to just tinker with asset allocation, etc.

I want to create a graph or pie chart reflecting only the information from the real sub-portfolios. When I choose the Master Portfolio to create a pie chart from, it shows all of the sub-portfolios... Thanks.

Hi Chancee,

I hope Mark doesn't mind my attempt to help with this, but as a former Quicken user, I've gone through a similar learning curve. Mark, if there's anything I say that's factually incorrect feel free to edit liberally.

The beauty of FM is that you can have (I believe) unlimited sub-portfolios. In your case you can create two sub-portfolios: One called Real (or anything you like), which contains your "real" portfolios; the other called Mock (or anything you like), which contains your mock portfolios.

Then, when you want reports or graphs, you can choose from either your real sub-portfolio or your mock. Or you can select both by choosing the Master Portfolio.
