Format numbers as %

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Is it possible to format numbers as percentages (with a %) in the portfolio view?

Also, is possible to have the program auto update transactions and security prices automaticaly?

Hi Neri,

What window are you calling the "portfolio view"? I'm not sure about where you are looking.

You can auto-update prices, but not transactions. See "Options / Internet Settings..." and turn on "Automatic Retrieve".
Thanks,
Mark

Mark-

I am referring to the portfolio editor screen.

Also, is there a way to supress securities with $0 value without deleting them permanently?

Thanks.

Hi Neri,

In the Portfolio Editor window you can choose which fields to display by using "View / List Columns...". The numbers are displayed in whatever is appropriate. For example, yields are displayed as percentages, and value based numbers are displayed as values (not percentages). You cannot force a value to display as a percentage.

Yes, you can "hide" investments you no longer own. For details on this, see this FAQ:

Thanks,
