Do you mean for a given contribution that repeats every month? This is possible, but not as nice as if you can just retrieve it from your broker, so you get accurate share quantities. I can see for the case where you are manually entering transactions this could be helpful. It seems it would be more appropriate for mutual funds, instead of stocks, so you know the exact purchase price, and can determine the number of shares.

Yes, I'm thinking of monthly (or bi- tri-monthly) trnasaction), related to mutual fund.
Personally, I need of a manual insertion.
