Hi Mark,
When installing Fund Manager Personal on a new PC should I be installing it as the Administrator or as the User?
I am on Windows 7 professional (64).
The problem I have is that when installed as a user it will not allow me to update the quote modules or transaction modules. I am currently set up with transaction module 0 !!
I get error message #26 when I attempt to run the updates on the user mode. Also I am unable to restore my backup file under the administrator login.
When I am logged in as the user and windows request the administrator password to to make a change (ie to update the transaction mode) it rejects my admin password !!
Under the admin mode I get the message: "Could not load TRANRETR.DLL. Make sure it is located in the smae directory as the fm.exe executable.
This feature requires Internet explorer 3.0 or later to be installed. If the TRANRETR.DLL is present in the same directory as fm.exe, make sure you have IE 3.0 or later installed."
Please advise.
