Professional Version Trial

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,

I have been using the personal version for a couple of years now and find it to excellent! I would like to give the professional version a try but don't want to get in trouble. If I download the professional version for a trial period but decide to stay with the personal version, what happens when the trial period runs out?

Thanks,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

You would just re-install the Personal version and go back to that. The data files all use the same format, so there is no issue switching between different versions. The only thing to be aware of is that if you create a portfolio file with more than 500 investments in the Professional version, you wouldn't be able to open that portfolio file in the Personal version.
Thanks,
Mark
