Copying portfolio to another computer

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I successfully copied all my portfolio files (portfolio and investment files) but the changes I made to the columns on one computer did not transfer to the other computer. Anyone know where is the file stored that saves the column settings?

Hi moonlighter,

Your preferences such as memorized reports are stored in the registry. If you use the backup/restore feature in Fund Manager is will transfer these registry preferences for you. If you'd like to manually transfer, you can use regedit to export/import this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Beiley Software\Fund Manager
Thanks,
Mark

Great, used backup/restore function to set columns the same on both computers. This is working very well. Thanks!
