Does FM work with preferred stocks? If yes, were does it pull actuals from? Thanks

Hi Dadx2x2,

I do not know if the quote servers we support offer preferred stock quotes. If you know the name or symbol of some, you can look them up with your web browser. Just go to the site, and do a search. If you can find the quote using your browser, then determine the symbol used, and enter that symbol in Fund Manager for your investment, and it can be retrieved. Besides being able to retrieve prices from any of these quote servers, you can also get price updates from your broker. When you retrieve transactions, current prices are also updated. The list of supported brokers for automatic transaction/price retrieval is shown here:

Thanks for quick reply. We have most of our holdings at Schwab. Your list of brokers you can accept downloads from has; Schwab - The 401k Company. Is this different then the regular Schwab? Thanks

Hi Dadx2x2,

You would want to use the one called "Charles Schwab". They are listed on the page alphebetically, so these "Schwab - The 401K Company" and "Charles Schwab" are far apart on the list.
