General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I have been using Fund Manager to manage my personal portfolio since the mid-90’s. It is a great product!

I will be buying a tablet some time soon. What tablet class is best to run your product and how do you suggest sync’g tablet data to a traditional home computer?

Hi GasPasser,

Fund Manager only runs under Windows, so the only tablet that could run Fund Manager that I'm aware of is a Windows Surface Pro, which runs Windows x86. There are other Windows RT based tablets which will not run Windows x86 programs, but the Surface Pro will.

As far as syncing your data between 2 systems, you could store the program and data on a cloud drive, and use the new portable mode. See "Options / General Preferences... / Data / Portable Mode". Press the "Help" button in this dialog for more instructions. When you use this mode your data and all your preferences are stored with the program on the cloud drive, which you could access from multiple computers.
Thanks,
Mark
