Update and Price Download Speed?

Hi!

I am running FM 10.9 Personal, with quote module 431. At the moment I am downloading all of my prices from Yahoo, the default price server.

For the last few days, the price update downloads have been EXTREMELY slow. This started suddenly.

Could this have something to do with the fact that my quote module dll is ancient? Could upgrading to the latest version speed up my price downloads?

Hi David,

I wouldn't think so, but can't say for sure. I just tested retrieving quotes from Yahoo, and it is very fast here. I retrieved around 100 investments in around 2 seconds. I used the current quote module (443). You could try downloading 12.4 and see if that fixes the issue. You can make a backup of your data first, in case you decide not to upgrade to 12.x.
