Transfer FM 11.9 from Win XP to Win7

I put another hard drive into my computer and installed Win7 on it.
I left the old drive with Win XP in the computer and am trying to transfer all my FM data to the Win7 drive.
I had done a FM backup on the old drive whilst running Win XP.
Unfortuneatly I had not noticed that the three most recently added investments were being saved in a sub directory of the directory where all the other investments were saved.

I did a download and installed FM 11.9 into the new Win7 drive and then did a restore from the backup in the old drive.

All the data came over except the three investments in the sub directory.
FM runs OK except it is missing the three investments.
I have tried a number of remedies but cannot get it to work.

How can I transfer the three missing investments ?

Hi John,

You can copy those 3 investment files over, and then re-open them. Right mouse click on whatever sub-portfolio they belong in, and choose "Open Investment...".

BTW, in the current version, it will make sure all your data is in the same folder before doing a backup. If it isn't, it will offer to move the data files into the same folder for you. This makes it much easier when moving your data to a new computer.

I had allready copied the missing investments to the new directory, but did not think of using Open Investments in the File menu of FM.
Now all fixed and runnung great thanks to your prompt help.
