401k Plans

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

The investments I've loaded are mutual funds. I also have 2 401k plans I'd like to track along with the mutual funds, but I don't want to have to load purchases every 2 weeks in the active 401k plan. What would be the best way to handle this? I'd like to be able to load my cost basis so I could track my gains.

Hi TigerLa,

If you want to keep track of cost basis, you'll need to enter your purchase amounts. Without this, there is no way to know your cost basis.

As a time saver, if your 401K is held at one of the supported broker companies, you can just 'retrieve' your transactions, making it much easier. See:
