Must I change the Default Cash Account?

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Regarding a Margin Account, I'm really stuck on the CAD and USD Cash Accounts...

I'm trying to buy a US stock in USD from my USD Cash Account I set up in one of the portfolios.

My Default Cash Account is the CAD one, and FM is doing the exchange fine, but I want the cash to come out of the USD Cash Account.

Thanks,
TK

Hi ThomasK,

It sounds like you have the wrong default cash account selected. If you have US investments, and want those to use a US cash investment, make sure you have it assigned this way. You may need to put all these into their own sub-portfolio, so you can assign them their own cash investment, instead of using the CAD cash.
Thanks,
Mark
