Dat file location in Vista

Hi Mark where does FM 8x store it's data file in vista ? When I click the FM icon in C program files FM it open the program. I used to open up the FM file save the Data file to the clipboard& couldpast it to anwhere. This is the first time I have tried it on Vista.Where in Vista woud you recomend saving the FM 9x file to preserve the 8xDat file?

The data is stored wherever you specify when you create new investments/portfolios, or wherever you open it from. One easy way to find out where your data is located is to use the Portfolio Editor, and look in the "Location" column on the right hand side. If you don't see a "Location" column, turn it on with "View / List Columns...".
