Restore FM with old data without backup

I unfortunately uninstalled and reinstalled FM and my backups was lost . Fortunately my data location was set to Dropbox . But I cannot just set data location to Dropbox on the reinstalled FM.
How can I recover from this situation?
After I have recovered I will use Portable mode and the sky option.

Hi Bjarne,

If you have a copy of your data files somewhere, just use "File / Open Portfolio... " and open it from wherever it is located. Once you have your data open, if you want to move it somewhere else you can use the "Set Data Location..." menu command.
