What does a shortcut symbol mean on a folder icon?

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

When I start FM, I have several different folders in my portfolio, for example, "Dave's investments", "Joe's investment's", etc., and within each of these folders are the individual stocks each person holds. I see that the folder icon has what looks like a green shortcut arrow on it and would like to know what that means?

Hi flyboy320,

In Fund Manager terminology those "folders" are called "sub-portfolios". A sub-portfolio with a green arrow on it indicates it directly contains investments. You can see a picture/explanation of each of the possible icons you will see in the Portfolio Editor window in the documentation here:
