Combining Transactions

I have setup a portfolio called 'Small Cap' and have transferred in, or manually entered, from four separate sources the same equity. The portfolio shows this equity four times in the 'Small Cap' portfolio. How do I get this equity to show up only once n the 'Small Cap' portfolio. I will have this issue a large number of times.

This assumes you want to merge multiple investments of the same security into a single investment. If instead you want to keep the investments separate (like if they are from different accounts) and you want to report a consolidated number, list by symbol in your report, rather than be investment.
