Last Chart Point Not Showing

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I'm not sure if this is something you have control over.
Since I have more points in my chart than pixels on my screen I don't see every data point. When I'm retrieving quotes, I'd like to see the point that is being updated (ie. today vs yesterday). Unfortunately, the last point is always hidden.

My question is, can you force it to show the last 2 points?
Below is normal (left) and after stretching to see the last points(right).

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

I understand what you're asking, but I'm not sure how to improve this case. If the screen resolution is smaller than required to plot every day, some information can't be perfectly resolved on the screen. When plotting, FM does plot every day. In this case, multiple data points may be plotted at the same X pixel, due to rounding/insufficient resolution. One tip you may find helpful is to look at the legend. It displays the last value, and the change from the prior point. You can also utilize cursor snap to snow you the plotted values in the status bar. If you have any other ideas for improved clarity in this case, please let me know.
Thanks,
Mark

As I mentioned, I know all points can't be plotted.
I was hoping there was a way to force the end points to show up and skip whatever is necessary in between. It's always missing the last point.

Yeah, I always look at the delta value in the legend.
It's just the the missing last point has always annoyed me.
No biggie.
Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

There is no such option currently. The last data point should be plotted. It may be obscured though, as other data points on adjacent dates may be plotted at the same X pixel, but a different Y pixel. I can give it some thought...
Thanks,
Mark
