Mark,
all crypto works with 8 decimal places. Fund manager only displays 6. Is there any way we can set the precision to 8 and display it in the tractions and shares?

Hi Jim,

Sorry, no. The maximum precision you can display a price is to 6 places past the decimal. Internally a price is stored as a double precision floating point number, which can have many more places, depending on the size of the number in front of the decimal. However, FM only displays up to 6 after the decimal. When doing calculations, it will use as much precision as it can store. So, you could enter a price with 8 places past the decimal, and it will be used when calculating values/etc, but never displayed.

As Crypto becomes more mainstream it might be nice to display 8 decimal points since that is the standard.
