Restore problem

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark,

When I launched FMS today, I got this error message:

This same error was repeated 5 times for 5 different investments.

I proceed to restore them individually, and with success according to the restore dialog. However none of the 5 are showing in my portfolio or found through the search function.

Is there anything else I can do?

Hi Oscar,

After that error message it should prompt you to go locate where that investment file is located, in case it was moved (like the X: drive designation changed or something like that). If you re-direct FM to find the investment, it should be open. You can also go manually open it using "File / Open Investment...". If you don't see your investment open in FM, either go re-open it, or you can restore from a backup.

Thank you Mark, I used the File->Open Investment route and have been able to put everything back in place now.
