reset to default?

Hi,

My custom reports are gone.. Also, the font size is larger than I was used to. It looks as if everything has been reset to 'default' options.

I restored a backup to no avail. Strangely enough it only occurs on my laptop, FM on my PC seems fine.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Hi Erik,

Your custom reports and fonts are stored in the registry. You might try restoring the "Global Preferences (registry values)" only from some recent *.FMB backup before this problem happened. You can choose to restore only this item during the restore, and not any of the other data files. To find your *.FMB files, see "Options / General Preferences... / Data" for the location of where your automatic backups are going.

Phew..it worked! I restored 'global preferences' (didn't even know that was an option), and everything seems back to normal
