Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark,
I'm trying to create a custom report that duplicates the standard Income Schedule report that comes with Fund Manager.
In the standard report that's provided in FM, what fields are the Date and "($) Amount"? I need to include these two fields in my custom report and can't seem to find them.
Thanks.

Hi aviator,
You can't get exactly the same information, as the Income Schedule report shows income over a requested date range, which could cover multiple payments. With a Custom report, you can only get the "next" income payment date/amount after the ending report date. See: "Next income date" and "Next income value" for these.

OK thanks. I might have brought this up before, but might I suggest some improvements to the Income Schedule report? Specifically, it desperately needs subtotaling by date, sub-portfolio or account number. (Subtotal by month is what I need most, but subtotals by sub-portfolio and/or account # would also be helpful.)
I realize I can export the report to a CSV, but it's cumbersome to go through a spreadsheet and do this by hand.
Thanks.

I'd just like to add that I agree with aviator - I think the income schedule report would be much easier to read if the first column was the date (by default sorted on date - then the investment column) and also a subtotal for each month - then at a glance you could see what income payments you have coming in - and on a monthly basis - which would be really useful.
Thanks.
