How to get the report columns width to resize and show the full figures instead of defaulting to a setting that is too narrow and cannot see the numbers?

This happens when the system recalculates a field and the reports get refreshed

Hi marathon,

Make sure you have on the option:

Options / Report Preferences... / General / Auto-Size Columns When Report Data Changes

You can also use the command:

Window / Auto-Size Columns

to force a resize. This shouldn't be necessary though if you leave on the option to do it automatically.

The other possible problem is that these column widths are global for a given report type. So, if you have 2 report windows of the same type open, the last one to calculate sets the column widths for all reports of that type.
