Ex Dates Dividends

Hello

Is it possible to record a distribution on the ex date and not on the payment date, so that the dividends are displayed in the graphs and included in the reports on the ex-date? How could I do this most easily without changing all the distribution dates manually?

Hi Tintin11,

You can record your distributions on whatever date you'd like. The date is set by whatever source you're using for recording these distributions. If you're retrieving data from your broker, then the broker sets this date. There is no automated way of changing it. To change the date on already recorded distributions you would have to do it manually.
