Financial Year based Reports

Is there any way we can calculate the Monthly Performance report using financial year. Presently I find that the ROI is calculated on calendar year (Jan-Dec), whereas I am looking for financial year (Apr-Mar) based calculation. Though I can set the start and end date of the report, it is organizing only from Jan - Dec hence ROI per year on financial year basis is not readily available.

Not in the "Monthly Performance" report. You can however create a Custom report, and add the field "ROI yield (between)", and then create the report for any date ranges you want to get yearly returns for your financial year.

The problem in using custom report is, it is not providing the tabular format like Monthly Performance.

I am looking for the report similar in format of Monthly Performance but order in Financial year like the following

Month> Apr May June July Aug Sep Oct Dec Jan Feb Mar
2010 3.4 5.4 6.3 7.2 -3.0 -2.4 1.2 -2.1 -3.1 3.3 4.2

How to get this format in Custom report, please advice

Hi SHAREVJ,

You can't change the format of the Monthly Performance report to give you the year totals in any different format other than the calendar year. The monthly numbers are still the same, no matter what your fiscal year is, but the totals shown in this report are Jan-Dec. You can't use a Custom report to replicated the format of the Monthly Performance report, as the Custom report only has up to 6 allowed date ranges. The Monthly Report is in a different format. You can get all your monthly numbers in the Monthly Performance report, and you can get your fiscal yearly numbers in a Custom report as I described in my last post.

Adding an option to allow you to specify the year months is something we can consider for a future update.
