report to show gain on redemption

HI
I have bonds that mature during a financial year I wish to show the gain/loss on redemption
If I use the report with value beginning and end the final value show the whole position as a loss

EG Bond value at april 1 107 It is redeemed in dec 12 at par ie capital loss of 7 per unit

The value beg and end report shows value change as -107

How can get the correct value

Hi alan,

To get your realized gains/losses, use a Capital Gains report instead of the Portfolio Performance report.

HI I used in a custom report the" gain AI " btw which seems to work out correctly with capital gain accrued interest and value change
