Rebalance Report Exclude Sector Issue

Hi,

I'm trying to run the Rebalance report on a subportfolio and exclude a sector. I'm on the most up to date version of FM. However, it doesn't appear to exclude the sector at all. If I run the same exclusion on a single symbol it works as expected. The rebalance report is running against sectors for rebalancing and that sector is set to 0% so I wonder if that is the issue. However, I'd expect the filter to apply before the rebalance calculations.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ballardian,

If your allocation target is by sector, then you can't also filter by sector. The filter dialog will initially allow you to pick a sector, but once you click Done on the Report Settings is won't allow this, and turn off the filter. If you go back into Report Settings you should see that the filter is off. You should also see in the report header there is no mention of a filter being used.
