Monthly Performance Report

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

I am running monthly reports using the "Distributions - All" Performance Metric. For the last month within the date range there are no results unless I pick the last day of the last month in the report range. If I pick any other date during the last month other than the last day of the month no value for that month shows up even if there are qualifying transactions within the date range of the last month. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Hi Bsrr,

If you choose "Help / Help on Report..." from within any report window, you'll get the online help for that report type. For the "Monthly Performance Report" it explains a bit more on how the date range is used:

Note on Date Settings:

This report will only include full months in any calculations. When the report's date range starts or ends inside a month, that month will not be displayed in the report, or included in the totals. The date range is effectively rounded to a shorter date range that only includes full months.

Didn't think to use Help to review first but for sure will do that more going forward on any things I am struggling with. Thanks much for that suggestion as it is more time efficient for me and I don't want to ever waste your time if possible!! Thanks.0
