Hi gcgucken,
The "Distributions" column includes all distributions paid by the lot on that line. It doesn't matter whether they were distributed or reinvested, they are all included. If the distribution was reinvested that creates a new lot, and it will be shown on a separate line item in this report. The Open Lots report does not have a date range, it is reported as of a particular date. So, any distributions from the date you opened the lot to the ending report date will be included.
Hi GCG,
Correct, for that lot distributions do not affect its cost basis. If you reinvest those distributions, it will affect the cost basis of the overall investment, but not that one particular lot.
Hi GCG,
Yes, if you enter reinvested distribution transactions the cost basis of all those purchased shares is tracked accurately.
